Biography
Sarah A. Brooks focuses her practice on litigation arising from trust, estate, and conservatorship matters, including elder abuse litigation. A fierce advocate, she has successfully represented professional fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and others in all stages of litigation. “I put myself in my client’s shoes, and I strive to achieve the best possible outcome for my client based on the particular circumstances. That might be a day in court, or it might be a settlement.” Ms. Brooks is well-versed in handling all aspects of litigation, from the trial court level through the appellate process. She prevailed in the First District Court of Appeal case Stine v. Dell’ Osso (2014) 230 Cal.App.4th 834, which resulted in a published opinion clarifying successor conservator standing in a legal malpractice action.
Raised in Michigan, Sarah moved to the Bay Area in 2007. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
