James Murphy joined Aaron, Riechert, Carpol & Riffle in March 2006. 

Mr. Murphy graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in May 2006 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He received the CALI Award for Excellence in Corporations, Evidence, Federal Income Tax, Property, and Remedies.  He was a member of Law Review and the McAuliffe Honor Society.  At the University of San Francisco, Mr. Murphy participated in the Investor Justice Project where he assisted small investors with limited incomes in NASD arbitrations.

Before law school, Mr. Murphy earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley in 2002.
